30th ANNIVERSARY VOLUNTEER

We're looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help make Rise & Shine's 30th Anniversary Gala an unforgettable celebration! Whether you can assist with setup, registration, the silent auction, guest hospitality, or cleanup, your time and talents will make a lasting impact on the children and families we serve.

 
 

ACADEMIC TUTOR 

Education tutors work with youth on a subject area, particularly reading, writing, and comprehension skills. Volunteers enhance the regular school process and may work with youth on individual or group basis.  

SKILLS

  • Flexible

  • Active listening

TASKS

  • Provide assistance with tutoring

  • Assist with guided reading

  • Assist with one-on-one

  • Personalizing learning

  • Promoting independence in learning

Required:

  • Must be 21

  • Required to attend orientation and training
