Our leadership team is made up of dedicated staff and an engaged Board of Directors who work together to ensure that the organization continues to serve scholars and families with excellence, integrity, and care.

Our Staff

Rise & Shine’s staff members are the heart of our daily work. They provide mentorship, academic support, program coordination, and meaningful relationships with the scholars and families we serve. Our team works closely with volunteers, tutors, and community partners to create a safe and encouraging environment where young people can grow academically, socially, and emotionally.

Staff members bring passion, experience, and a deep commitment to youth development. Their work extends beyond the classroom—helping students build confidence, develop life skills, and discover their potential.

Executive Leadership

Under the leadership of Executive Director Maurice Jones, Rise & Shine continues to grow its impact across the community. The Executive Director works closely with staff, volunteers, parents, and community partners to guide the organization’s strategic direction, strengthen programs, and ensure that resources are used responsibly to benefit the scholars we serve.

Board of Directors

The Rise & Shine Board of Directors provides governance, oversight, and strategic guidance for the organization. Board members are community leaders and dedicated supporters who volunteer their time and expertise to help advance the mission of Rise & Shine.

The Board works closely with the Executive Director to ensure strong financial stewardship, thoughtful planning, and accountability to the community. Their leadership helps sustain the organization and strengthen its long-term impact.
