A virtual event for a great cause

The party of the year is moving online with music, an enticing auction, raffles and much more – brought direct to you in your home. AND FREE TO ALL!

The fundraiser will feature four musical acts. We’ll hear Motown tunes from Rockell Scott, William Mills and "Royce the Voice" Lytle, jazz from Jason DeCristofaro & Friends, local bluegrass musicians Pretty Little Goat, and opera singer Sidney Outlaw.

Rise & Shine was formed as a constructive response to messages of hate in the 80s and early 90s, and for 24 years has been providing our scholars with academic confidence, equality of opportunity, and racial pride. The drum beat of R&S's key messages are as important now as when the program began: YOU MATTER, WE BELIEVE IN YOU, and DREAM BIG!

Keep an eye on our Facebook page and mailings for updates about this fun fundraising event! Expect a wide range of auction items from one-of-a-kind creations, to scrumptious wines, to coaching sessions with MLB players and fishing trips! Bidding will open on October 1st!
